Non-Traditional Legal Careers

Let me guess, you are the definition of non-traditional. You can not write the perfect IRAC, CRUPAC, who-gives-a-AC brief. You never understood the purpose of outling or briefing, and just when you figured out how to do it you found out that you shouldn't do it anymore.

Furthermore, you did not take the LSAT, wait months for a decision, and spend three years in law school only to graduate, wait years for respect, and spend 90% of your waking hours doing document review and brief writing. Unfortunately, this is the traditional legal career.

If you have read this far, you are probably like me. You are dying for a non-traditioal legal career. Unfortunatelty, the definition of a non-traditional legal career is as elusive as the holding of a Cardozo opinion.

In this blog you will find random thoughts, helpful resources, and a community of people like you. Feel free to post questions in the comments sections and I will attempt to answer them - assuming this blog's popularity does not run away with itself. Best of luck to you as you travel the uncertain road of the non-traditional legal career.
